Keeping the house clean, unlike presumed by most people, is not an easy task.  It involves a lot of time and patience since each aspect of the house has to be kept clean and tidy. Ranging from the carpets to the tiles and fans, everything has to be spic and span.

Tile cleaning is an integral part of housekeeping. The procedure for cleaning the tiles will vary depending on the type of tiles and where they are placed. The process for tile cleaning in the kitchen is different as compared to the bathroom tiles. Hence, one has to be careful while cleaning them.

There are a few things that you will have to keep in mind before you being with the job of  tile and rug cleaning. First of all, you will have to find the right product for cleaning the tiles. Just because a particular product works well for your friend, it does not mean it will work well for you too. The products will vary based on the nature of the tiles.

Before cleaning the tiles, it is advised that you conduct a small test to see, if your tiles need sealing. Sealing is a process in which the pores in the tiles are blocked in order to prevent water seepage into the tiles. Test a small portion with a little water. If water seems to seep, then you need to seal the tiles.

You will also have to be careful with the solution or product you choose. Don’t start off with a strong solution since they can damage the tiles at times. Hence, opt for lighter solutions and if they don’t work opt for the strong ones.
