The statistics claim that almost 65% of patients who have had a joint surgery and the use of pain pumps are likely to develop Chondrolysis. Many an orthopedic surgeon went ahead to embed a pain pump without knowing the harmful effects that it is going to have on the patients.

There have been three lawsuits that have already been filed by the law firms of Janet, Jenner & Suggs (Baltimore) and Cohen & Malad (Indianapolis) on behalf of injured victims of shoulder pain pumps.

These lawsuits go on to allege the irreversible damage that has been caused to the patients who had used these pain pumps and the disabling Chondrolysis that they had to deal with along with the pain and trauma of a frozen shoulder.
The plaintiffs in the lawsuit have alleged that the manufacturers had the knowledge about these harmful effects and yet went ahead to support its usage by the surgeons. This was even with no FDA approval. Also, the drug manufacturers did nothing to discourage the untested and dangerous manner in which these drugs and the pain pumps were used. One of the attorneys, for the lawsuit, Robert K. Jenner has been able to find discriminating evidence against them.

If you are interested in filing a claim for medical malpractice associated with pain pump, you can fetch more information from pain-pump-counsel.com. Just pay a visit to this particular site to learn more in this regard!
